Delete your Dirty Load Laundry account

This page applies to accounts on the Dirty Load Laundry website and the Dirty Load Laundry Android app, both operated by Dirty Load Laundry in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. You don’t need the app installed to delete your account.

Log in and you’ll come right back here to delete your account.
In the Android app, open Account → Delete account.
Email Support@Dirtyloadlaundry.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll confirm and finish within 7 days.

What we delete

Your name and phone number
Saved pickup addresses, gate codes, and entry notes
Saved cards (your payment profile at Stripe is deleted)
Laundry and communication preferences
Push notification device tokens
Unpaid draft orders

Your login is permanently disabled at the same time.

What we keep, and why

Completed and cancelled order records (date, items, price, and the service address and pickup instructions on that order) and payment records — kept up to 7 years for tax and accounting law and to handle refunds or chargebacks.
Support tickets and order messages — kept up to 2 years to resolve disputes and claims.
The email address on the closed account — kept so the account can’t be reopened to reuse first-order promotions, and so we can answer questions about past orders.

Retained records aren’t used for marketing. Any unused store credit is forfeited when the account is closed, so use it first. If you have an order in progress, finish or cancel it first, then delete your account.
